The Maloney Library’s next Behind the Book program will be on Thursday October 24th, 12:30 p.m. in Room 3-09. Behind the Book brings together scholars to discuss their research on contemporary issues and the publishing experience.
Yuko Miki, author of Frontiers of Citizenship: A Black and Indigenous History of Postcolonial Brazil, and Tanya Hernández, author of Racial Subordination in Latin America: The Role of the State, Customary Law, and the New Civil Rights Response, will explore anti-racism and social justice in Latin America. Nitza Escalera, Associate Dean of Student Affairs & Diversity Initiatives will moderate.
