Maloney Link

Here’s a handy utility to access subscription websites from outside the Law School network via The Maloney Library’s proxy server.

If the Maloney Library has a subscription to the resource you are trying to access, this utility should work.
This utility WILL NOT WORK with resources to which we are not subscribed.

PC/Mac Installation

Enable your browser’s bookmarks toolbar, then click and drag this button up to it:

How to Use

  • Go to the webpage you want to access
  • Click the bookmark to reload the page thru the Maloney Library’s proxy server.
  • Sign in when prompted, and if we subscribe to the resource, you should be able to use the website as if you were on the Law School network.

Smartphone – Example: Chrome browser

  1. Create the bookmark
    • Visit this webpage
    • Tap the 3 dots (Options) icon
    • Tap the STAR icon
  2. Edit the bookmark
    • Copy this entire line of text:

    • Tap the 3 dots (Options) icon
    • Tap BOOKMARKS
    • Tap MOBILE BOOKMARKS
    • Next to Maloney Proxify, tap the 3 dots (Options) icon then tap Edit
    • Delete all the text in the URL field
    • Paste the copied text above into the URL field
    • Tap Done
    • Exit Bookmarks

How to Use
