Purchasing Coursebooks

To receive your casebooks and textbooks in time to complete your first reading assignments you must order them in a timely manner. Books can be purchased from the Fordham bookstore or from the publisher. If you purchase directly from the publisher, the publisher will often provide access to an electronic version of the book that you can use to do your reading before the print version arrives in the mail. A list of the major book publishers and their direct sales portals are below.

You can also purchase textbooks from online book resellers like Amazon. Please be sure that you are ordering the correct edition of the text as new editions are published frequently. Resellers often provide access to both new and used casebooks and textbooks and sometimes have rental programs. Note that a reseller will not provide you with access to the electronic version of the text in advance so you will have to wait until the print books arrive to do your reading. A list of law book resellers is available here.

If you have any questions about ordering textbooks, please contact the Maloney Library reference desk at refdesk@law.fordham.edu.
